Job Description:
The Director of Corporate Planning & Personnel at Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd is a key member of the Board of Directors, reporting directly to the CMD. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including crafting short- and long-term corporate plans, developing effective marketing strategies, overseeing export marketing efforts, assessing capacity utilization, and identifying opportunities for diversification within the company.
In addition to corporate planning duties, the Director also holds responsibility for the Personnel function within the organization. This includes overseeing organization planning and development initiatives, conducting performance appraisals for managerial personnel, implementing management development programs, and managing industrial relations within the company.
Furthermore, the Director is tasked with planning and executing capital works related to infrastructure upgrades, such as civil repairs, and managing the company's estate and immovable assets. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to drive the company's growth and success in manufacturing.
